Day 12--Valdez, AK

The drive to Valdez was pretty typical of what we've been seeing the past few driving days. Lots of road work extended the day, so when the boys saw things they wanted to check out, we did. (Let me explain that by this time mom was more than ready to not go anywhere for a few days and was more than ready to get to the destination. Luckily Jeff doesn't have that same brainwave of thought so we got to see some amazing things instead of going straight to Valdez.)

SNOW!!! Any time my people see it, they think they need to touch it, so off we go!
✅ Bennett
✅Riley
✅Mom not happy to go across the snow and slip and reinjure the shoulder so Ry helped me.
✅ Snowball fight!
If we're going to be near a cliff, then we're getting a family picture!
Keep moving down the road to an old tunnel hand scraped for a road, but then left due to a feud between groups.
Bridal Veil Falls caught our attention of course. And then, Horsetail Falls did too!
We obviously couldn't get enough of the views at every corner so this part of the trip got a lot of pics we need to go through. We're so exhausted by the end of the day that doesn't happen though!
Valdez is a cute fishing town and we wanted to eat out so we walked from our RV park (full hookups = 3 loads of laundry AND a hair washing shower for me!!!!) to the harbor.
Our boat for the glacier tour tomorrow!
Ignore what's in the picture. I took this from my bed and it was almost 11pm
Focus on the light! Thank goodness for window shades!
Up next: glacier tour and then we move on!
