Day 9- Icefields Parkway, Canada 🍁

Knowing that we wouldn't be able to stop at anything major like Lake Louise, Lake Morraine, etc, we still wanted to drive the Icefields Parkway because it's supposed to be beautiful. It did not disappoint!

First thing first, we needed a spot to dump sewer and refill water. This is an event we do often so it's just our norm. Jeff found a spot in a Lake Louise area campground that had 6 (yes I said 6!!!!) lanes for dump/refill. Those of you who camp realize the awesomeness this is! It was here we saw our first glacier! (Ignore the bugs on the windshield!)
After that all eyes were peeled and fingers were pointing -- and not just by mom and dad! They boys were just as excited as we were!
I mean....this view!!!!! ❤️🏔️

And then we found a pull-off that wasn't packed and could fit our coach/truck in tow. This made the entire drive!
Don't get me wrong--I told Jeff we have to come back to officially see all this road has to offer, but we were thrilled with what we got to see just driving! Plus-we got our first sheep/goat sighting!
Jeff and Ry went exploring while I made lunch.
I can't even imagine what we would have been able to see if we didn't have the motorcoach. We did try to see the Columbia Icefield but all we could get was a pic from a parking lot. On this drive we didn't have time to go up to it because we had 8 more hours to drive for the day and it was crowded so it wouldn't be a quick thing.
One day we'll be back! (Hopefully!)
