Bennett--12 Months

Happy 1 Year B!!!
Fun at Mustang Mott with the cousins!
Meal time--we need a bigger table!
Porter Reunion--Celebrating 100 years of Porter Farms!  All the Boswell Porter great-grandchildren!
1st true pair of shoes (meaning...the first ones that weren't hand-me-downs!)
You LOVE exploring outside!
Beep!  Beep!!
Growth
  • At your 1 year check-up you weighed 22.13 pounds and were 31.75 inches tall.
  • Still Size 4 diapers and 12/18 month clothing
Sleeping
  • Nothing's changed except now that you've gone back to daycare (sorry...mommy had to go back to work!), your naps aren't as long.  You love watching everything and don't want to miss anything!
Eating
  • Trying to lessen the amount of milk you drink.  You like water, so it's not too bad.
  • Also trying to take away the morning bottle.  Tried to do this really close to the time you went back to daycare might have been the problem, because as I type this, you still have it b/c you fought me so much on the sippy cup.  Too many transitions at one time.  My bad!
Handsome guy!
The Land of Bennett
  • Your walking has improved so much!  You love to venture down the driveway--too bad we live on such a busy street! You also LOVE riding in your car and it keeps you busy for a good 10-15 minutes.  You feel so big when you push it around!
  • You love to navigate the backyard and check out the dogs, toys on the patio, etc.  You're such an outdoor lover!  I need to make sure I rest up so we can play outside when I get home from school!
  • First haircut!
  • First Gobbler football game!  I love, love, love your outfit!  I got it from friends and couldn't wait until you could wear it!  You absolutely LOVED the football game and all the action you saw, places you could climb, people you could hang on, etc!
Go Mean Green!
Ahh...what a great cape I have!
  • Walking around with a blanket keeps you happy and busy for at least 15-20 minutes!  You laugh and laugh as you hide under it, drag it behind you, or just hang it like a cape!  We love to see you this happy with something so simple!
