Bennett--11 Months

Something must have caught your attention--you're never this still!

Well, you are all sorts of cuteness and activity this month!  I think I wrote most of it down, but I'm sure I missed a few things!

Growth
  • Weight--still about 22 pounds
  • Length--about 29.5 inches (which I only know b/c they measured you at our San Antonio ER visit!
  • Size 3/4 Diaper--ran out of 3's so I just stuck you in the 4's we had and haven't looked back!
  • Started night-time diapers (size 4) b/c you'd be really wet before we went to bed and it was hard getting you up for diaper changes at 10pm and getting you back down.  I guess that makes us slackers, but we love the night-time diapers!
  • Clothing--12 month....getting tighter with each wear, so luckily we do have some 18 month stuff!
  • Shoes--I think around a size 5--at least that's what one pair of hand-me-downs says!
Sleep
  • Same as last month--a good 1.5-2 hour nap in the morning and afternoon naps are still 30 min-1 hrish.  LOVE it!
  • Bedtime is still 6:45-7ish and you still sleep until about 6:30-7am, which mommy and daddy really like!
Eating
This was right before you dumped the entire bowl out!

The result of mommy letting you play in your cabinet.  BUT...it sure does make giving you snacks easy!
LOVE your sippy cups with straws!
  • We're now on regular eating times and I love it!
    • 6:30ish Morning Bottle 6 oz.
    • 8:30--breakfast & 4 oz bottle
    • 11:30--lunch & 4 oz bottle (which was then taken away for just water)
    • 2:30--snack and 4 oz bottle (took away this one towards the end of the month for just water)
    • 5:30--dinner and water
    • 6:45--bedtime bottle 6 oz
  • New foods:  Olives and almond milk are the only 2 new things I wrote down.  Pretty positive I missed some!
  • You are eating more and more table food, which means whatever we eat I try to give you.  Sure does make it nice to not have to buy as much baby food!
Your Month in a Nutshell
  • First plane trip the day before your 11 month birthday--not so fun for us, but a little Tylenol on the way back and we were all good (except daddy's arm that got tired!)
Planes!!!  Layover in Dallas where we met up with Gram and Pops

Ahhhh.....the wonder of pain reliever! This equaled sanity for the return flights!

  • Traveled to Durango, Colorado with Gram and Pops
Family Pic on the Animas River in Durango

  • Traveled to Dallas for the Nash Family Reunion
Dallas Zoo with mommy, Gram, and Pops
  • Had a lot of train park fun by ourselves and with dates (mommy's school friends & their babies--Gemma, Wesley, and Daisy)

Swingin' with the ladies!  "Hey Daisy!!"

Adores the swing and claps when having fun!

Staring in amazement at the baby ducks at Peckham Park--so intent!

Ahhh...the beginning of your temper tantrums!

Lots of pool dates (finally!)--Limmers, Dunagans, Baumls, neighbors

•Took 2-3 steps towards a thing--I guess that's the next step before walking!
•Still LOVE playing on pillows on the floor
•Laugh hysterically when I do my "I have muscles!" moves for you!
•Figured out how to work your air purifier and that provides LOADS of entertainment!
•Dinner at Olive Garden--we gave you bites of salad and soup and at one point you just literally put your mouth on the table to eat like a dog.  Luckily, this didn't become a habit, but it was pretty funny!
•Chuck-E-Cheese for Adam's bday:  You liked the rides we put you on and loved walking around!
•You officially started walking 2 weeks before your birthday!  Such a big boy and you absolutely loved this accomplishment!  We're so proud of you!
    • You pretty much did this while I was away on a scrapbook trip, but I even said the day before I left that I knew you'd do it then...at least I knew it and watched every other major event/caught it on film!
Ahhhh!!!  I'm coming for you mommy!!!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the way his walking looks from behind!  Such a determined walker!
