What Bennett Likes

When I was pregnant, I did a post on "What Baby Likes" and I thought it would be fun to do the same now that Bennett is here! Looking back at the blog, it's funny to see how some things are still true!

1. Bathtime. During the first few weeks, I was really sad because I thought B didn't like bathtime. I knew it took babies a little bit to get used to it, and was so excited when he started liking bathtime! When I was pregnant and took a shower, he kicked A LOT!
2. Any type of noises made with the mouth. LOVES them! If he's crying, then the louder the better. If we're just hanging out after a feeding, then the more I do the better.
3. Facial expressions. Smiles to him are his absolute favorite, but he definitely is starting to enjoy other facial expressions too.
4. Songs. I started out singing the standards. You know, "You Are My Sunshine", "Twinkle, Twinkle", "Jesus Loves Me". The normal ones. Then I started making up my own. As of right now (he's 10.5 weeks old), I've made up 2. One is for putting on lotion after bathtime, and the other is a song with his name. Poor guy has to listen to me sing--and I often try various octaves. He probably won't grow up to appreciate music thanks to me. Oh well!
