Issues

I'll start with saying "Poor Jeff". I love this man--for many reasons, but one is because of his persistence! He is on leave for a few weeks and wanted to work house projects---finishing trim in bathroom, replacing bathroom counter, etc. Finishing the bathroom---main focus. However....that was not the focus of "The House with Issues"!!!!

  1. New countertops back/side splashes shorter than old crappy ones = putting up MORE drywall.
  2. Putting up more drywall = open walls
  3. Open walls = more plumbing to be replaced (Yeah!)
  4. Along the way....something electrical "pops" and causes more issues
  5. Electrical issues = attic work in the middle of the summer

I could go on...but it's boring. All I can say is I want out of the house and Jeff just keeps on pushing through. I don't know how he does it.

Then, last night, the tip of the iceberg with Internet issues. End note: problem solved (hello...aren't you reading this right now???), but the 1st guy we talked to for an hour kept having us do the same thing over and over and over to find the problem. Funniest moment: when he told us to go to another Internet address, such as "DoubleeeDoubleeeDoubleee.Yeah-hooo.com"---Yeah-hoo. Not Yahoo. DoubleeeDoubleeeDoubleee. Jeff and I were just giggling and had to put the phone down. You know all the Tech Support people you get are not from "your country of origin" and when they say things like this it just makes you laugh. And yes...we were mean and made him repeat it. At 11:30 last night after being on the phone for an hour already, we needed the laugh!

Side note: the "advanced tech support" guy helped us in about 5 minutes---and we're thinking he was in America! Go figure!
