Bennett--19 Months (March 7-April 7)

Well, you are just a bucket full 'o personality little man!  (Guess since you're a big brother, you shouldn't have that title any more, but you do--oh well!)
In the middle of dancing and being silly in the car

Growth
  • Clothing:  18-24 months; Shoes--6XW for your chubby dogs; Diapers--5
  • Height--up 1/2 an inch from your February measurement by daddy-o, which means you're now 33 inches tall!  Weight:  no clue, but I'd say around 27 pounds--you're a stocky kid!
Sleeping/Eating
I am officially calling this category "DONE"!  Your sleeping/eating has been the same for the past few months and it's ridiculous that I'm typing the same thing each month.  Bedtime is still 6:45/7pm-ish. I'm sure you've tried new foods this month, but I have no clue what they are!  Some days you like things, others you don't--totally normal for a kid your age!

The Land of Bennett
First of all, let me just say that your "land" is hilarious!  You have such a spunky personality and are so expressive!  I'm not sure if this is the case with all kids your age, but you've got a spark!
  • Tantrums--still there, and we're just trying to deal with them (ignoring you, changing directions with an activity, etc.)  Normal--but we're kind of over it and aren't giving in as much...sorry kiddo!
  • Words:  choo-choo, diaper (pipuh), Riley (Rah-reh), motorcycle (no-nyo---no clue on that sound from that word!), more (mo'), I sit (and funnily enough you won't sit until we tell you it's okay to sit...no clue!), Bye (with such a cute southern accent = "baihhh"), snack (nak), spoon (poon), I fix (the follow up to last month's "bo"--broke)
  • Ball throwing is a new favorite!  You've been doing it, but literally in the last month your aim/throw has gotten much better!  Now we just have to work on you not going up to someone and launching it at their face!  Stay tuned....
  • Hand/eye coordination:  Wow!  You are really good now at hitting down your pegs in the peg toy--very accurate!  Puzzles are getting easier too because you're understanding better that you have to turn things to get them to fit!  So much fun to watch these skills develop!
He found a plug.  He found a hole.  He made his own inference!  (I'm a proud reading teacher mama!)

"Broke"--with dirt at Gram and Pops' house

Can we both fit???

The egg hunting practice begins--but it was backwards with him taking the eggs out of the basket!

LOVING the Easter Bunny!
