It's Almost Here!

Summer's over and school's almost here. My sister's birthdays (and a lot of other friends' and family's August b-days as well) have now passed and gone. And.....Jeff's last "Active Reserves Coast Guard" day is tomorrow! Tomorrow is my 1st full day to work in my classroom. And....next week starts school for both of us!

What a long 2 weeks it's been. They've been good---extremely busy and jam packed---but good!

Every now and then for the past week and a half there have been things that happen and I go..."Ooohhh....I've got to put that on the blog!". And you know what? I can't remember any but 2 of them! How sad! I guess when I've got literally 7 different pages of lists in my school bag that if it doesn't get written down, it's not getting done! But here are the 2 I do remember.

1. Enjoy the car/SUVyou have---and tear it up in a rental! That way when you get back in your SUV from a Corolla all week and you can actually see above another car on I-10, you feel SUPERIOR!!!!! No kidding---before I was even off the lot in my 4Runner, I was giddy to have it back! Forget better gas mileage! That's just for the birds!
2. Feed your dog his medicine in peanut butter. That way you can watch the drool literally pile on the floor while he waits for you to dig out of the bottom of the jar!
