You know...there are so many things you have to think of when you do wedding stuff. For example, you have to think of what you'll like 40 years down the road--not just right now. That's one of the harder things because I change what I like all the time! A few years ago, I was "the child that hated polka dots"--when mom was trying to figure out things we liked/disliked. Now I love polka dots--not necessarily on clothes, but on other stuff it's really popular and cute. So now, poor mom is just absolutely confused. Just when she thought she'd figured something out, I go and change on her!
I'm really excited b/c mom and I are going to look at some invitations tomorrow. I've looked at TONS online and have even ordered catalogs and samples from a few places, but I haven't found "IT". I can't believe how "prom-like" some invitations are, and how expensive others are. What a business! Hopefully we'll at least find a few choices that are good--that's all I'm asking for!
Then, you have to think of what you are supposed to wear for engagement pictures. I know this is early, but I like to have my bases covered (those of you who know me really well, just think of it like my spreadsheet for apartment hunting!). I've kind of got the whole bridal portrait outfit covered, but now I'm on to other things!
One day (enter March 14, 2009), it will all be figured out. Until then.....who knows! By the way....exactly 11 months from yesterday!!! :)

Ya know, when we took engagement pics (which I dislike) I chose white - big no no :o)....I've seen cute things, like her wearing a cute sun dress/dress and he wearing a matching color from the dress. That's very cute. Jeans and black will blend w/anything. Of course you could do jeans and any color shirt...There are really a lot of options. Got anything picked out for the Wimberly pics?
