Ashley and Matt left for Italy on a 10-year anniversary trip/visit to Court & Evan last week. They flew to Houston, dropped off the kids, and jetted out of town for some fun! Jeff and I went home this weekend to visit the kids (and the parents) and have fun at Turkeyfest. It was SO much fun to be with Olivia and Nicholas for an entire weekend sans parents (theirs...not mine!!). It definitely makes me appreciate my "free" time--or lack thereof sometime....especially since I took a nap when the kiddos did all weekend! Here are some fun moments from the trip:
Doesn't everyone dress up like a princess on Friday morning?
Engineer at work!
Drivin' the car in the garage: altar ego Maggie (I was Lisa--and had 14 kids!! in this scenario!!)
Before the Cuero/Yoakum football game--ignore the flash spot....it was the best of the 2 pics! And...mums I made for O & N for next week's homecoming game! Olivia LOVES Jeff-ery beca
use he plays silly with her--and then ships her back to her parents!
Watching the turkey race between Ruby Begonia (Cuero's bird) and Paycheck (Worthington's bird) with Pops. Go Ruby Go!!!
Olivia loved dancing to the bands and Nicholas was just utterly fascinated with the entire parade--so much so that he passed out on the 5 minute car ride home!
